What’s in the Everything Tier?
- I publish the comic pages here first before they are released in public. Public updates are posted on www.seluda.com, Tapas, and Comicfury.
- If updates are going to be missed but I’ve made progress that is appropriate to share before completion, I will post them here too.
- I also do summary transcripts and insights like allusions to previous pages, symbolism, thought process and approach.
- I also share thumbnails, notes, general news, extra comics, drawings and doodles. Not all relating to seluda.
- Please check your spam inbox if you think you’re missing an email. Give a few minutes after subscribing to see content. If the posts appear locked even though you’ve subscribed, log out and log in.
Note that I post once a month. I used to post more frequently, but I find large posts with an accumulation of pages and art more rewarding.
The tier includes thank you drawings. After you pledge and you’re interested in getting a drawing, please contact me with references.
If you used to pledge and haven’t gotten a drawing, please reach out to me.

You can request me to draw characters; yours, mine, other sources. You can include scenarios or themes you’re interested in within reason, which also help provide me with direction.
Turnaround varies but they do get done. Expect around within a week to over 1 month.
Who are you and what’s this?
I’m Kye Cooks and I’m the author/artist of seluda.
seluda begins with David as an adolescent, who is plagued with symptoms that affect his everyday life. He is usually alone until he meets Karen and Jason, whom he reveals to them sort of unconventional views on things. One day he is presented with a doppelganger, who soon exposes to him the undercurrent of himself.
I began developing the story around 15 years old, with most of the themes already determined at the time. It has been through the bulk of my lows and highs; It grew as I grew and gives me a reason to live.
It is a long comic with two phases. Slowly unraveling different genres. It is more appropriate to be completed and then released as a graphic novel, but there’s not a lot of fun in that.
Outside of comics, I’ve been doodling for awhile and I love animation.
I like to post my work online and getting all sorts of feedback, it is really fun and has tremendously impacted my growth.
Subscribing is one way to support me. I will be sharing things pertaining to my comic and general art or other creative work. I have health conditions that make earning income difficult. The money will help me pay bills and be more financially independent.
I also sell posters and zines here on my Storenvy.
I used to post on Patreon, but it has become more restrictive over the years. So I’ve created my own page using the ChamaWP plugin and MailPoet for sending emails.
Thank you for reading!
